School Programme
Against Fake News

Erasmus+
Project Reference: 2020-1-FR01-KA201-080027
Strategic Partnerships for school education
Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices

The project aims to help schools and teachers to develop teaching methods to help students recognize “fake news”. The project addresses 3 priorities: strengthening the profiles of the teaching professions, promoting the involvement, connection and empowerment of young people and innovative practices in the digital age.

To each of them, the project responds both with the production of intellectual production and with activities implemented in the project. “Fake news” is a scourge against which it is particularly difficult to fight because it is difficult to identify. The project aims to provide tools for both teachers to raise awareness and train students, and students to identify “fake news”.

It is based on a well-reasoned needs analysis and responds to the priorities of the European Union. Since young people are among the most easily influenced and in constant contact with the media (smartphones, tablets, social networks), the targets are quite relevant.

The partnership is complementary and will guarantee synergies between different areas: research, education, youth. It has a truly European dimension, with an interesting geographical distribution. The project is also innovative in its implementation through an approach to the “fake news” by online games and it is also complementary to the projects already made and mentioned.
